Mitzvah Day 2011 a huge success

On Mitzvah Day, Sunday 20th November, thousands of people around the world took part in hands on projects, without fundraising, to support charities and to build stronger communities.

310 organisations ran Mitzvah Days including 96 synagogues, 39 schools, 54 international communities in 23 countries, 31 offices doing 'Give Away Your Lunch', 23 groups of young professionals, 30 interfaith projects, & 20 university J-Socs.
